“Foldin’ stuff,” Keith replies absent-mindedly, tongue peeking out of his mouth as he does, indeed, fold some papers. Lance finally gets all his stuff packed away and then turns his full attention to Keith, humming curiously. Keith, like with everything artsy, is amazing at origami, and Lance is always amazed at how he takes a piece of scrap paper and makes a mini-sculpture.
“Like what?”
“Made you this bouquet,” Keith says.

Summary

Summary
If it were anybody else, Lance would think they’re messing with him for fun.
But Keith is Keith, straight-forward and guileless. If he’s touching Lance more, it’s only because he’s gotten more comfortable. And on one hand, that’s great, that’s—Lance feels very honored. His heart is doing backflips and aerial stunts and everything. On the other, this is really not helping with his raging crush.
His breaking point turns out to be when Keith, exhausted after a day of subspace meetings, drops his head onto Lance’s shoulder and sighs.
It’s a sigh that says, now I’m comfortable, that admits, I’m recharging, that practically screams, you help.
Hands in his pockets, he lets Lance bear his weight as if he trusts Lance to handle it. Great. That’s just—how dare he. How dare he be so vulnerable with Lance? Who does that?
It’s so enraging that Lance just blurts out, “I’m going to need you to stop doing this before I fall in love with you even more, asshole.”
Keith freezes.

Mouth still full, Keith looks up. Lance. Lance brought him coffee?

He takes it quickly, so he won't have time to linger in this strange twist of a feeling that has bloomed in his chest. At his touch, the mug is just the right temperature, and the smell alone is enough for him to temporarily forget about his waffles.
One sip. Likely, doesn't mean anything, Lance getting him coffee. Another sip. Keith is a guest after all. The third drink goes down with a gulp. No one else made a comment. Did they even notice? Summary
Keith doesn’t believe in fate. He doesn’t believe things happen for a reason, or that there is meaning to be found in every bad thing that’s happened to him. He also doesn’t believe he’ll ever be with Lance. But as he drifts through the abyss on the back of a space whale, he catches glimpses of other realities where he and his friend are inextricably tied despite forces beyond their control promising to tear them apart.

Like the shock of snow white hair that was half up, half curled around his shoulders as long, choppy bangs fell gently over his forehead. They almost obscured the annoyance that reflected in eyes the color of dusk from a rooftop and thick eyebrows furrowed, contorting an unfairly symmetrical face into a grimace that only further accentuated his handsome-scratch that-beautiful features. Leandro’s eyes, raked over the long tan scar that started from the bottom of Akira’s left cheek and ended just below his eye, an unnatural marker of some past struggle that shocked Leandro with such a powerful wave of familiarity, he could feel his body start to sway.
Swords clanging in dim hallways, lips pressed to healing skin, fingers brushing hair back, ocean salt and wildfire, red and blue-
The last thing saw before falling forward was Akira’s gorgeously angry expression quickly shift into one of concern as he ran forward to catch Leandro’s collapsing form.
