Summary
Samira Mohan is a Senior in College trying to balance it all. She has never known anything but skating her entire life, and from pressure pulling from all sides, from student life, to her internship, she's never known what it means to slow down. She has to make it to the Winter Olympics while keeping herself afloat, and she certainly doesn't have the time for a beautiful hockey player to uproot everything she thought mattered to her.
In walks Trinity Santos, a prideful, headstrong, passionate hockey player who also puts herself entirely into everything she does. She doesn't know when to quit, especially when she has to battle to qualify for nationals and to win the heart of the figure skater who had the nerve to step into the rink next to her.
Skating is everything to them, but what will their battle to gain an edge on their competitors and each other cause them to fall apart or come together?

“So your plan is to what? Stand up and say you object in the middle of this wedding that I mostly planned thank you- and think she is going to jump into your arms and run away with you?” Samira says sarcastically, still in disbelief.
There’s a moment of silence where Parker and Samira just look at each other, and a beat as Parker says nothing in response but glances away and back again.
And then the widening of eyes, “No fucking way, Parker.”

Her blouse was a wreck, buttons ripped at the seams, the lace of her bralette already wrecked, being pulled down to leave her open. Her skin tingled with every drag of a thumb on her chapped bottom lip, the tang of metal catching on her tongue, a hand wrapped around her waist from the back, squeezing with every grind of Samira’s hips.

There were moments between them that felt like forever. Something so unquantifiable and yet when Samira is dancing in their kitchen, cheeks reddened by Emery’s hands on her waist, when Samira wraps both arms around her in the middle of the night and snuggles into her back, when she kisses her like she never wants to let go, forever is the only word that comes close to defining that feeling
