Summary
Vegetta had always held the false hope that he might have a choice in who he married. It was a hope of romance, but it was one he never should have entertained. Now, faced with the imminent death of his father and the responsibility of carrying on that legacy, the choice of a lifelong companion had to be rushed, and it had to be correct. No pressure, as long as he could keep the marriage amiable at the very least.
Foolish had never held much hope for anything, fifth in line for his own land’s leadership and a cast out of society at that; His existence, for most of his life, had been a mere footnote. Being sent away to marry into the crown family on the mainland had never been a thought in his mind until it happened. Told to keep their lands peaceful to each other, while hiding a shameful secret of his own, the risk of shaming his family and people even more than he already had is a looming thought.
Both, with no other choice, decided to do the best they could given the circumstances.
Circumstances are inclined to change, however, and secrets between lovers can never stay secrets for long.

This years fandoms will BE: Fantasy High (Dimension 20), Critical Role, QSMP, Rust Kingdoms, Ordem Paranormal Quarantine, Criminal Minds. Not in any particular order or system, but they're the things I want to write at the moment including a few I haven't before! (FH and CR welcome to the fold)
WARNINGS! I write dark shit, especially in October for these prompts. I want to end as many of these oneshots with terrible sad endings as possible, and each chapter will have their own trigger warnings depending on the fandom and prompt. Read them before you read the story to keep your mind right!

There was no way he was still obsessed with that statue, was there? Cellbit had told him hundreds of times that the likelihood of that statue actually being him was ridiculous - Foolish had led cults and religions for decades, and there were statues and etchings of him all over those excavation sites, many of which were broken. So even if Foolish was still conscious in his prison, the odds of restoring him were slim if not impossible. He’d been stupid and gotten in over his head, and wherever his body was trapped was probably in a place he would never be-

Summary
Foolish was always their father’s favorite. Miyoung was their mother’s favorite. Tina… was not jealous. Jealousy was not fit for a princess, and it was no way to get them to care about her the same way they did her older siblings.
But it was hard, seeing them get to have days out of the castle while she stayed in, watching Q struggle to breathe and sleep through weeks of fever. It was hard to be alone, spending time training herself if she could and becoming friends with people who, no matter what, would always put her on a pedestal just because of who her family was.
She loved her family. Of course, Tina loved her family. Even if she wasn’t anyone’s favorite, Foolish and Miyoung always made time for her, and they would talk late at night and go out collecting supplies together after their father died.
It felt like such a terrible thing, to be glad that he was dead. Dead men had no favorites, after all, and Foolish seemed happier than ever now that he got to be the king.
Everyone loved him.
Tina was not jealous.

Well, that wasn’t fair, making him feel sorry for someone he didn’t know. Sure, whenever a new small mark or even painful burn of his soulmate's injuries showed up he felt bad about it but it's not like his ‘other half’ was taking very good care of themself, either. He was not the only problem here, even if he was a big part of it.

“No, you don’t.”

His kidnapper was not wearing a mask, which was the first red flag of many that pinged in Foolish’s mind. He had a hood on, shadowing his face, but it wasn’t enough to really hide his identity. Hands on his hips, the guy actually looked pretty pleased with himself.
“You’re fucked.” Foolish snarled, pulling at the ropes holding him to the chair. “My husband is going to actually kill you, you’re so fucked.”
“Oh, you don’t have a husband.” the guy chuckled. “There’s no marriage certificate in your files, and trust me I did my research for this! No, what you have is a long term boyfriend. How long has it been, five years? Six? And still no ring…”
“Fuck you.”

They both knew that the last one was very true, and Fit seemed to sense it.

Once again trying my hand at this! Last year I only managed 28 days, but I hope to hit all 31 this year!
Doing two fandoms instead of just one like usual, writing for QSMP as well as Ordem Paranormal: Quarentina. Some oneshots will be in-universe, some will be AU's, some will be canon compliant and some won't be! This is just me taking the characters and making them very sad. As of right now I don't plan on any of the oneshots being connected to each other - but that might change as the month goes on!
