There might be a chance to stop Dooku from becoming a Sith. The Republic is falling apart in an entirely unfamiliar way. And that’s just the beginning.
Whether or not all this change will be a good thing remains to be seen.
And there’s one thing Ahsoka cannot let happen: Darth Vader. She doesn’t know who he is or where he came from, but she does know that she’s going to find the unstoppable monster who terrorized the galaxy once, and she’s going to kill him.

Somehow, Palpatine has died.
This does not make the galaxy any safer for our favourite heroes and villains. Darth Vader still hunts for his son with a single-minded obsession. The Imperial Armed Forces, now split and collapsing under the weight of a civil war, seek to ruthlessly gain control over their selected territories.
And Death Squadron, lead under Admiral Piett’s impeccable command, is forced to the edge of the galaxy under the strain. With no reinforcements, no resources, and no long term hope of survival, they are forced to beg the Rebellion for aid.
Not that the Rebellion of all organisations can be the ally Death Squadron desperately needs… can they?

Summary
The events of Mustafar go a little differently, Darth Vader comes to regret his decision shortly after the events of ROTS. Sidious will not let him go so easily, though.
In the Death Star, Vader finds out his children are alive, and finds a reason to fight back against his master again. He has some work to do for forgiveness... though...Or, Anakin becomes a slave to Palpatine after the fight on Mustafar. He lives in regret ever since. But maybe his kids can give him a reason to stay.
