Summary
AU. Imogen Cardulo and her long-time boyfriend, Garrick Tavis, are deeply in love. When he suddenly has to go on an air force mission with his brother (Derik) and her sister (Braelyn), Imogen, who does engineering and tactics at the base, has to babysit her niece, Julianne (the daughter of Derik and Braelyn).
A few weeks into the 2-month mission, Imogen discovers that she’s pregnant. She’s terrified and unsure what to do - she wasn’t expecting this and thought they were being safe enough to prevent it. However, it gets worse when the Venin (a terrorist group) attack Derik, Braeylin, and Garrick’s planes.
The couple is killed, and Garrick has life-threatening injuries. How can Imogen cope with grieving, looking after her boyfriend, and caring for her nine-month-old niece? How will Garrick react after waking up from a coma and finding his girlfriend (whom he had planned to propose to) pregnant and holding a baby...?Series
