Summary
When, Wally had contacted the civilian number to the Bat's, asking if his best friend was okay, the whole family had been on edge.
Wally was in constant contact with Dick.
Wally never called them unless he thought something was up.
And most of the time, if he said something was wrong, he turned out to be right.
Since Dick has been spending most of his time in headquarters, Tim and the rest of the family preoccupied with matters in Gotham and off world, they hadn't been able to check up on Dick as often as they'd like.
And Tim really want's to hope that it's nothing. Or that it's something small.
But his gut is telling him not to hope for the best.

Or, Dick Grayson is a self sacrificing idiot and hasn't been talking to his friends about how much he's struggling. This leads to him going selectively non verbal and Tim going to check in one him.
Or or Dick is pulling away and Tim's just finished a case and goes and drags his stupid big brother home to get some tlc.

The current drags him away.
First his paws breach the surface first and pull him into the water.
Then his face get dunked in as he holds his breath.
Finally his body dips beneath the surface with his tail being the last thing to be submerged into the current.
Or Tommy innit is a lonely shifter that needs comfort and is running for his life.

A man leaned on the gate over him, carefully lined up against his property border, hands folded behind his back. His face, back lit as it was, looked perfect; sharp features, cat-like tilted eyes, a light, playful, perfect smile painted over his face. Everything about him looked lithe, from the way his legs pressed daintily under him or his torso bent and twisted over with a playful tilt. Dark curls bounced just above his eyes, framing their shocking gold perfectly.
“I don’t think we’ve met. Can I have your name?” he asked, folding one hand out from behind his back and extending it towards Techno.
“I’m afraid I don’t usually give it out to strangers.”
