The Bruce Wayne sitting on the couch that was biting his lips and wearing a raggedy hoodie that looked like it'd been through hell with how much it'd been stitched up, was small.
In which instead of Bruce saving a batkid in a different dimension, it's the other way around; Jason finds a very traumatized kid-version of his father-figure.

Summary
Conner had a pretty good life, all things considered. He wouldn't necessarily call it a great life, but it was good enough.
Sure, living alone at Mount Justice with only a robot for company could get lonely sometimes, but he had his independence, his freedom from Lex, and his teammates on Young Justice.Unfortunately, no matter how content he was with his life, he could never quite shake the way he ached for Superman's approval. The way his insides twisted when his mistakes were met with harsh words and punishing hands. The way jealousy sunk its claws in deep every time he had to watch Superman and Jon interact. Still, he had a pretty good life, and that was all he needed.
But when an accident ends with Conner being thrown through a wall and Superman learning that his clone isn't quite as tough as he seems, that pretty good life comes crashing down around his shoulders. Superman insists these changes are for the best, that he's trying to make amends and help, but Conner isn't so sure. Not that anybody ever seemed to care what he thought.
At least Jon had a pretty cool video game collection. Maybe living with the Kents wouldn't be so bad.

On the fourth day, it becomes clear that Joe is organizing something—more muscle than usual, a few more Black Mask affiliates than there should be. The few glimpses of Joe that Dick gets, he’s on his phone, speaking rapidly and gesturing emphatically.
On the fifth day, everything is quiet. No one comes, no one goes.
On the sixth day, Tim calls Dick: they’re not sure where Jason is. And yeah, maybe that’s just normal, and they’re not panicking yet. But they’re not sure where he is. And they’re about to start looking.
And on the seventh day, Bruce shows up at his door with Jason standing next to him, pale and hacking out a cough, putting too much weight on Bruce’s shoulder, and says: “I need to ask you a favor.”

Dick is supposed to be on a boring stakeout assignment. Jason complicates that.

A prequel to "Meltdown Reimagined: Kon", but can be read interchangeably!
"There was an irritable ring in his ears as Match slowly awoke from unconsciousness. When he did, he was in a bare, metal room, with his arms cuffed and a suspicious red light beaming down on him. On the other side stood Superman, the red light purposely angled away from him. Something was itching at Match to deflect the red light and eliminate the target in front of him, but his Tactile Telekinesis wasn't working, and the blue Kryptonian kept his eyes glued to the clone. Match decided his first course of actions would be to analyze his settings."
Or
After bringing in an unconscious Match to Cadmus, Superman tries convincing the clone to save Superboy. Easier said than done, however.

Clark rubbed the bridge of his nose, sighed, and considered whether this counted as a medical emergency, a spiritual awakening, or—most likely—a side effect of fighting off an alien beetle uprising in Thailand approximately sixteen hours ago.
He decided a trip to the Fortress of Solitude was in order.
Jor-El’s scans were, in typical Kryptonian fashion, helpful in that profoundly unhelpful way. Yes, there was a new mental link in Clark’s neural architecture. No, it wasn’t alien interference or telepathic mind-control or residual psychic bug-sting.
It was familial.
“Your offspring ,” the AI intoned with such mechanical certainty that Clark had to sit down immediately. Not out of physical fatigue, but because his body had made the executive decision that the only safe direction was down.
The following existential crisis to such a revelation arrived precisely as scheduled.
(Or, I wrote the Dad!Superman story i've always wanted to read)
