    Summary

In my previous fic, Engineer Mark was pulled into the portal created by the warp core. His landing destination was into the Iron Lung, with Simon. But what if the reverse happened? What if Simon was pulled into the portal? He had just been sent into the blood, just scanned through the manual. But he hasn't used the camera. No radiation poisoning. He was hurled through the blue portal, into the Invincible II.

    Summary

The convict- Simon. His name was Simon, and some part of Ava hated that she knew it now because The Convict was a criminal, a murderer - a butcher, some said.

But Simon - Simon - was a person, who had parents and had a childhood, and had a voice that shook and quivered and broke as it yelled at her through a shitty microphone - "You sent me to die down here, and you don't even know my name?" - and Simon was clever, and Simon's amalgamated ship of spare metal had somehow moved off their plotted map, and yet he had found the coordinates for the lost SM-8 and had begged her to set him free for it's data.

Simon - the one responsible for the destruction of the Filament Station, the one who's life was in her hands - was an enigma of data versus emotion in her brain.

    Simon wasn't talking.

What if Ava got to Simon before the beast found them, and got them both (relatively) safely to the surface.

    Summary

“So why…why haven’t you consumed me?”

“You intrigued me,” it cooed directly into his ear.

    No.

    “Your fierce will to survive…”

    No, that wasn’t right.

    “To live.”

    No, that was wrong…

    Something in him was wrong.

“Stop it!” Simon screamed at last, desperate as he pushed himself back into Eden’s tree — but there was nowhere to go.

    It was in his head.

    In his body.

    …In his mind.

His heart felt like it was going to explode as he held it in pain.

He thinks he’s begging. He has to be. He can feel his lips moving, but his ears are muted to the sound of his babbling. All he is — all that he can hear — is the voice of God in his ear.

“I could make you a god,” it continues, either unaware or uncaring of his distress as he watched, horrified, as tendrils of prismatic light drifted from its swirling iris. Nebulas gutted themselves before him and bled into his world so that they could curl around him.

    . . .

Simon wakes after what should have been the end.

yes… YES!!!! Horrifying, and beautiful, and so, so wonderfully put together. So much time and dedication put into this one. Will need to come back to finish this after work. Author, if you read the bookmarks, I am metaphorically kissing you on the hot mouth.

    Summary

One day, the stars disappeared without a trace.

And we all know who’s fault it is.

The wormhole. The power core. A violent flash into another reality. One where humanity is brought to ruin among dying colonies and moons built of blood. The Engineer did not just make a single mistake. He caused a collapse that echoed across universes.

    And then there is Simon.

The Butcher. A title whispered to him like a curse. Eden. The Tree. Filament station, lost. A man condemned for crimes committed in desperation, sent into a coffin of encased steel. What would happen if, just if, the engineer stumbled into the Iron Lung itself? A portal into Simon’s nightmare of desperation.

    Summary

In the skies of WWII Berlin, pilots have reported sightings of a ghostly aircraft, a phantom jet eerily similar to the game-changing Messerschmitt Me 262's being developed in secret by Nazi engineers. While the Luftwaffe fliers see this "Ghost" as an omen of good fortune, one disillusioned German mechanic discovers the mysterious plane hidden in his barn, somehow disappearing and reappearing at random, and quickly realizes that, for this machine, there's more than meets the eye.
