“Don’t you ever feel…” His lips invade the space between them, brushing all sweet and reverent. Words heavy on the tongue, bloodied shoulder stinging with want.
“…Like what?” Words dissolve against his mouth, waiting to taste the confession.
“Mm, like…” Bottomless pupils shiver with a devoid hue. As if aching for something to corrupt.
Should he ruin the doctor too?
“…something’s missing.”

Years pass until a blinking, almost human, distress signal is detected deep within the surface of Lepismat. A signal from none other than Doctor Asad Rowan’s intercom, the doomed scholar believed to have perished on an expedition to develop a Swarm disease vaccination. Against all odds, clinging to life.
Doctor Veritas Ratio, a longtime friend and colleague on the abandoned project, is left dumbfounded. How could his friend be alive after all these years? The only way to discover the truth, it seems, was to go down there himself…
With the IPC’s most daring chip Aventurine of Stratagems, for good fortune, of course.

Summary
“Surely you can take a little break.” Wriothesley doubted that would get him far, but it was worth a shot.
“Unfortunately, I fear even a short break with you would turn into quite a longer one, beloved.”
Neuvillette looked up at him. Pointedly.

Summary
Veritas strained to catch a glimpse of his mysterious visitor in the dark of his room, but as before, his eyes revealed nothing. His outstretched hands met solid flesh that he couldn’t see, and as with the two times prior, it set his heart to frantically thundering against his ribs.
“Who are you,” he whispered, intent. His words felt small in the quiet. “I just want to know your name.”
Dr. Veritas Ratio discovers that the incubus who has boldly taken the liberty of visiting him several nights in one week is, in fact, a strangely ideal bed partner.
Or would be, if he could only see or hear it...

Summary
After an accident leaves Qingque's parents dead, she finds herself fostered by Aventurine and Dr. Ratio, who soon realize that parenting cat-cakes is much different than parenting a hundred-and-thirteen-year-old delinquent.
