Guillermo’s breath shakes as he exhales. The grate is thin, so thin that a determined man could crash through it and wrap hands around his neck, force the life out of him. “You feel guilt.”
“Why now? Why at all? Why— fuck-ing hell.” The last bit comes out as a pained gasp, and Guillermo can see the man’s head duck, his shoulders hunch. “Can we do this outside? It hurts in here.”

"For some reason Nandor is very keen on the idea of Date Night. Sometimes this can be fun. There’s something surprisingly beautiful about going to the beach at night, with the waves crashing in the dark and the lights glimmering on the dark water. It’s a lot colder of course, but there aren’t as many tourists or small children running around to knock over your sandcastle. Sometimes they run into other couples but in what Guillermo thinks is a touching display of romance, Nandor hardly ever eats them. Some nights though, Nandor gets to choose what they do, which usually turns into another marathon of the Twilight movies. It’s not that Guillermo hates Twilight but honestly it feels stupid to watch it over and over when Interview With a Vampire is right there on amazon prime."

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 FINALE 'NOUVEAU THÉÂTRE DES VAMPIRES’
“Don’t care what the fuck your name is. We had to pick up our own laundry!”
The words tumble out of Nandor’s mouth before he can stop them, and he immediately realises two things.
First, he definitely should not have said that. There were a myriad of phrases he could’ve and should’ve used, including - especially - ‘thank you’, but gratitude hasn’t been his overwhelming response to anything in almost 800 years of existence, so it wasn’t exactly easy to utilise now.
(Also, Nandor reasons that he should be cut some slack given that he just witnessed his familiar - his soft-spoken, submissive, puny human familiar - slaughter an entire theatre of vampires like it was nothing. Excuse him if his brain was having trouble.)
The second thing was that he was harder than he had ever been in his life, living or undead.

Y'all this fic... this fic GENUINELY has everything. This fic is iconic. This fic belongs in the LOUVRE. Nandor being an egotistical duncecap? Check. Nandor being murder horny? Check. Nandor being murder horny FOR SLAYER GUILLERMO? CHECK. Nandor being so dense he doesn't even realize he's in love until the last minute and then his brain short circuits from Every Emotion At Once? Check. Guillermo topping??? FUCKING CHECK!! Not to mention it is the most hilarious and in-character Nandor POV I have ever read and I have read some GOOD ONES. Wow. Wow.
