“Hey, Usopp! Look! You’re budding!”
The pain had simmered into a dull ache, like a bruise from one of his ill-fired attacks. Usopp rubbed over his arm again before rising from Luffy’s shoulder. There was a small dot that appeared dark red—almost maroon—at first glance that had engraved itself into his skin.
His stomach dropped as Luffy made a sound of delight beside him.
OR: Usopp gets his soulmark and worries while Luffy, unbothered and in love, reminisces.
It all works out in the end.(Started off as one thing then turned into a big story time about how each Strawhat got their mark and Luffy falling for Usopp despite sniper boy not having one yet.)
