Summary
But there are a few things—the things most laden with memory and sentiment—that he’s put off packing away. An old atlas—worn through use as a child when he’d had little care for the preservation of things--the first medical textbook he’d ever bought, and a rubber ball he’d discovered in the wake of what happed at Bart’s. Then there are the most important items: Sherlock’s deerstalker, his violin—hidden away when all of the rest of Sherlock’s things had been removed--and an old silver compass.
After Sherlock's fall, John needs to leave Baker Street.

Summary
After Mary is deported after it turns out she was never pregnant, John moves back to Baker Street. All should be well. Sherlock is solving crimes, the milk no longer tries to kill him, and John is where he is supposed to be. So why does everything still feel wrong?
A biting comment from Donovan sparks an inconvenient thought that just won't be silenced - what if he doesn't know himself as well as he should? What if a deeper understanding could make things feel right? As Sherlock stumbles through diagnosis, therapy, and the shocking realization that he might actually want to feel better, the people around him begin to notice - some sooner than others.

At The Edge of Our Hope — stories inspired by "Drift Compatible" by 7PercentSolution, Anyawen, elldotsee, J_Baillier

Summary
J. Baillier's "Drift Compatible" takes place in the 2040s, in a world changed and governed by a devastating threat. Based on Guillermo del Toro and Travis Beecham's Pacific Rim universe but requiring no knowledge of it whatsoever, it is the story of Rangers Holmes and Watson, serving in the Pan-Pacific Defence Corps, humanity's best and last line of defence. A highly sophisticated neural interface allows them to Drift, which means syncing their memories and thoughts to control a Jaeger—which are the most formidable war machines ever built. Drifting also creates a connection between the two men which, in its intensity, is initially difficult for both to accept. These short stories were inspired by "Drift Compatible", and feature the works of several authors.
The title of this series comes from a speech in the first Pacific Rim film, one made by Marshal Stacker Pentecost: "Today... At the edge of our hope, at the end of our time, we have chosen not only to believe in ourselves, but in each other. Today there is not a man nor woman in here that shall stand alone. Not today. Today, we face the monsters that are at our door and bring the fight to them. Today…We are cancelling the apocalypse."
