Summary
Nearly five decades after the Holy Water argument, Aziraphale is sent to a world-famous sanatorium in the Swiss Alps on an assignment that Heaven appears to care about rather more than usual—only to find out that Crowley, of all creatures, has already established himself there.
Clearly, this cannot be good for anyone's constitution.

Summary
In the innocent time before the Fall complicated everything, one shy, studious chronicler and one curious, chaotic starmaker fell in love. They were left with no memory of each other, but the soul remembers what the mind forgets, and their experiences together left them with a unique kind of synesthesia— the emotional state, mannerisms, and voice of one having a paired physical response (smell, taste, or color) in the other.
Follow Aziraphale and Crowley from the pre-Fall times to the Apocalypse as these heightened earthly senses continually pull them back together. At first, they meet tentatively under Halley’s Comet, the last thing Crowley created as a starmaker and an excuse to keep returning to one another’s orbit. But over the millennia, their relationship deepens and they find new reasons to seek each other’s company.

It’s the first day of the rest of their lives, and an angel and a demon are finally free.
“Touch me?” Aziraphale asked. It was a plea and an invitation and a promise all in one, that hopeful tone of his making Crowley’s tongue accordion against his teeth in his rush to ask where and how and really?.
“How, ah, how do you want me to… ?” There was no dismissing the flush that crept up his neck at that, no dousing the fire that tremulous question had started.
“However you like.”

Demons apparently could not only sing; they could weep. Crowley was trying to pretend those weren’t muted sobs, but didn’t resist when the angel’s arms went around her. “Don’t care how bloody bad they were. I should know. All the kids, angel… what’d She have against the kids? Yeah, they’re,“ trying to laugh, the smile was fairly ghastly, “annoying little prats but you know, you just tell ’em to bugger off ‘n stop their noise, y’don’t drown ’em, an’ I can’t say it to anyone but you, Heaven’s all so bloody right, Hell’s just running the numbers, you’re the only other one who lives with ’em….”
