“Hey, Miles,” Mr. Wright said entirely out of the blue, midway through their manic investigation session into the financial records of M. Bezzel, Ltd, “let’s get married.”
“Hmph?” Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth didn’t even look up from the tax return he was currently examining. “Now? Don’t be ridiculous. We still have two years of receipts to sift through.”
Apollo and Prosecutor Gavin goggle as their bosses argue their way through the least-romantic proposal, engagement, and wedding they've ever witnessed. It's almost as if, to Mr. Wright and Mr. Edgeworth, wedded bliss is equivalent to a long bickering legal debate crammed in amid an ongoing investigation.

There is always a letter to be sent- parcels to be delivered- notes to be passed- messages to be orated- always a place to be-
Gods forbid he run late!
All of that aside and if he were given the option— Hermes probably- most likely- almost certainly- wouldn’t have taken his most recent promotion should he have known it required waiting.

“I know little of friendship. If we are friends—”
“We are! From the depths of my heart, we are!”
Asterius casts his gaze away briefly, focusing on the axe under his hands instead. Theseus is sincere as the sun, and can be equally difficult to look at.
“If we are friends, they do things we do not.”
After a chance encounter reveals what their bond could be, Asterius tries to navigate his feelings for Theseus, and seeks some advice.

“I was hoping not to have a roommate at all,” Levi complained.
“With the cost of living in this city? You’re either dreaming, or rich.” Petra sighed. “You chose to take the job at Maria Memorial. As a trauma nurse, you’re on call all the time.”
“I know.”
“Then, you also know you have to live within a 20 minute drive of the hospital. All the apartments in that area are either drug dens or hella expensive,” Petra reminded.
“I know, Petra. I’m not a child, so quit scolding me.” Levi let out an exasperated groan.
“And Erwin’s roommate just got married and moved out, so you’ll be helping him out, too.” Levi supposed that Petra meant for her smile to be comforting. Instead, it came across as conniving.
“Fine. I’ll talk to the bastard, but tell Hanji I make no promises.”

“Can I try your soda?” Satoru asks.
“We got the same kind.”
Satoru tilts his head, licks his lips once, twice. “Nope. Pretty sure yours is different.”
“Satoru, look.” Suguru holds up his can, points at Satoru’s. “They’re both Cola. We got them from the same rack.”
Satoru’s face twists up in a look of displeasure. He picks up his own drink, takes a sip, licks his lips twice again and shakes his head. “Well I want to try yours.”

Phoenix harbours no illusions that getting his badge back is going to be an easy task, even if the hardest part of clearing his name is technically over. He's fully aware that his reinstatement is going to be a bit more complicated than just passing the bar and is going to be more of a case of:
Step 1: Save money to retake bar exam
Step 2: Study frantically to pass said bar exam
Step 3: Pass bar exam
Step 4: Hope and pray that he'll somehow be able to still pull in clients after his reputation got burned to the ground
Step 5: Haircut
Step 6: New suit
Step 7: Finally, finally confess his passionate love for Edgeworth that has been eating him up inside for the past 25 years
Step 8: ???? Lawyer???Thankfully he has a pretty solid support network of people willing to help him out. And if Edgeworth has anything to say about it, they'll probably be able to cut out a few of those steps along the way.
Which is why Phoenix promises himself one thing. If he passes the bar again, he is absolutely going to kiss the Chief Prosecutor square on the lips. Whatever happens after that, they'll just have to wait and see.
