Boba Fett is settling in as the leader of a syndicate on Tatooine, crushing his enemies, freeing their slaves, and generally trying to build a new reputation for himself. He'd like to see more of that Mando he helped. Djarin was useful around the Palace and good company. The kind (ever so rare) you could trust to watch your back. But Kryze got her claws into Djarin and they're off reclaiming Mandalore and Boba doesn't expect to see Djarin any time soon.
Boba really doesn't expect to see Djarin in his throne room with a group of kids.
And that first visit is only the beginning.

Batman dies saving Red Hood.
Jason Todd doesn't agree with this outcome and wishes for more time.
He wakes up, thirteen and earnest, in his childhood bedroom in Wayne Manor. Bruce is knocking at his door in an attempt to rouse him. Jason remembers this day. They're going to a Gotham Knights game later in the afternoon. Bruce's blood is still warm and criminal on his hands.
‘“Have you ever thought about that?” Jason murmurs. “Being rich in time?”
He feels Bruce’s fingers carding through his hair again. “It’s the most precious commodity of all. It’s priceless. It’s the one thing that I wish I had more of. You don’t have to worry about that, Jay. You’re fifteen. You have your whole life ahead of you.”’
Or, the one where being Robin never gave Jason magic—he was a little magic all along. Jason decides to do things a little differently the second time around. Wherein time casts a spell on them, and Bruce discovers the drag path Jason left in his wake.

Jason won my heart in this story. Unlike other time-travel fics I’ve read, there’s no big plan about how to change the future. It’s mostly about Jason spending time with his family, improving relationships, and making beautiful memories together. The story gets heavy on the topic of loss and grief halfway through, and it was hard for me to read. I’ll go back and read through those chapters later and at a slower pace. I rushed because I wanted to reach the happy ending, which I wasn’t sure the story would have, but it does.

And so he did.
It didn't keep him from mourning the death of his son.
Or: Bruce quits being Batman in the wake of Jason's death, tells the world who he is, then retires to Montana and slowly finds healing. And when Jason comes back to life six months later, and Talia tells him 'you remain unavenged,' he can't find any evidence to support that, so he goes home.
