Summary
For decades, magic users were prosecuted, killed, banished, or abandoned at birth. The kingdoms of the world feared the powers of those who could manipulate the laws of the universe, who could reach into energies undetectable by all others and change the outcomes of fate. Those who could speed up the rate at which a wound closed, stop the constant binding pull of the earth, live off of the energy of one's very soul and identity, and create weapons that could smite even the most resilient of the undead, to create, destroy, and change as one pleased.
That is, until the humble kingdom of Dogwarts is formed as a refuge for those of all magics. All is well until the king vanishes, presumed dead.
(Or: Martyn is forced to take the place of the King... but the decisions that come with it are not as straightforward as it seems.)

Summary
What if Apo found out and came to terms with who Owen was before Owen realized it? What if that changes Apo's behavior? What if Apo got the drop on Owen because he had information Owen didn't remember?
This fic is a slow burn Owen Redemption arc, not an Owen Apologist arc. c!Owen's opinions and actions are wrong. I wrote this because c!Apo deserves better, and I will move heaven and hell to make sure he sees his friend redeemed. No obvious pairings, no dating, no pda. All art is mine. Cover is my art on a nabbed screenshot background.
Research on Owen's change of opinion is based on the book How Minds Change by David McRaney. High-key recommend listening to the audiobook, as it's the first ray of hope I've seen for a future that's actually going to get better.

Summary
Scott Goldsmith has lived for hundreds of years, he wasnt always a vampire though, his family worked in a castle which was home to the Goldsmiths, powerful vampires with a legacy to protect. During Scotts first day as a gatekeeper he met a young man, blonde hair and facinating yellow canary wings, delivering ores from the nearby town's the mines. over time falling in love with him.
Scott is turned into a vampire by the Goldsmiths and due to his new semi-immortality he outlives Jimmy. heartbroken he flies away and starts a new life for himself, sleeping for 600 years by a town named Oakhurst.
Scott awakens and meets Avid, (vampires plot, yada yada)
Scott dies and meets Jimmy and Avid in the afterlife <3

The guards left, slamming the door shut behind them, and Pearl felt her hair stand on end as the wards reactivated, a staticky zing traveling through her shackles and grounding in her skin.
The prisoner startled, levered himself up and hissed through his teeth. “Right, that wasn’t the smartest decision I’ve made this week,” he remarked quietly. “Scar? Are you across from me?”
Shuffling in the opposite cell. “Can you do me a favor?” a second voice asked. “The next time you threaten guards, can you try to have a weapon first to strike fear into their hearts? I think you broke our hand.”
“We have another,” the man said defensively, and Scar huffed a laugh. “And anyway– oh. There’s someone else in here with me.”
