A compilated series of Shadow Link and Octavo's journey throughout the game. In this concept, Octavo is Shadow Link's summoner, as the shadow is an ancient demon who has been forced to go through the repetitive LoZ reincarnation cycle much like Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. Wherever there is a hero, there is a shadow to follow.
And Octavo needs a hero.

Summary
An AU concept where Octavo becomes the Necrodancer like in the CoH DLC, but he doesn't travel through time to stop himself before the entire kingdom of Hyrule is buried within a crypt. Shadow Link is forced to watch his summoner descend beyond saving. He has assumed the position of the Necrodancer's right hand, and is Octavo's unsaid successor.
