“Why haven't you....” Sunday sits back from where he’s straddling Joachim's lap. His wings flutter uncertainly before curving up to hide his blushing cheeks. “You haven't—ugh, why is this so hard?”
Chuckling, Joachim brushes his wings away to steal a tender kiss. He tastes of whiskey and warmth and something Sunday thinks might be called home. “Take your time.”
He takes in a deep breath. He wants to be eloquent, to ask in a way that will assuage his nervousness, but instead the words spill out in a mess: “Why haven't we had sex yet?”

In the face of a developing relationship, Sunday is almost ready to take the next step. Almost.It's a good thing Welt is well-versed in how to climb such mountains.
Or: Sunday and Welt negotiate their love life in the face of old, lingering trauma--because nothing is better at spiting the ones who have harmed you than embracing that which they would take away.

Summary
Childe has never considered himself to be particularly religious. Gods can be challenged. They can be brought down. Childe, more than anyone, is determined to do both, never bothering to pray when he can just do, building his destiny with his own hands one battle at a time.
Still, when he stands at the steps to an abandoned, hidden temple of Rex Lapis, when Zhongli rummages through the backrooms trying to find something he hasn’t missed in over a millennium….it sends a chill down his spine.
