Summary

Grieving the loss of her friend, Val, and battling her own disappointments in love, Sansa Stark and Jon Snow decide to marry to solve both their problems. Sansa would be given a home of her own, and Jon would be given a mother for his children.

Really, from retrospect one would assume the most significant revelation would’ve been the identity of a certain missing Princess, or the ambitious plan to usurp a fortified government. “It said that it's based on instinct and it shows the trust between them. That's why so many families do it."
Cinder nodded halfheartedly. Her hair was too thin and scraggly for brushing it to be a relaxing experience. If it represented family, it was right; Cinder's hair was hardly touched by anyone but herself.
How Cinder’s hair shows her that though it may be changing, she is never without a family.

Jon doesn’t make any friends at his new school; he’s not great at that to begin with. The closest thing he has to a friendship is this weird rivalry he suddenly has going on with the fiery redhead in several of his classes. Her name is Sansa, he learns after three weeks in school, and she absolutely hates it whenever he beats her into an answer in any of their shared classes.
It makes school a lot more entertaining - studying gets just a little bit easier, maybe even fun, when he knows every piece of new knowledge he gains probably pisses off Sansa Stark.
