There's a thought. That, with a snap of their fingers, adults can magically make sure their bad habits never affect their children.

“I don’t think you should self-diagnose. If you really thought it was that out of the ordinary, why did you not see a doctor about it?”
“I saw enough doctors as a kid to last me a lifetime,” Shawn said honestly. “When ‘cracked open like an alabaster jar’ is your point of reference for things that can be wrong with your chest, ‘kinda squidgy’ doesn’t really register as being worth investigation.”
It takes Shawn a long time to find the right words for the complicated relationship he has with his body.

___Or after the events of An Evening With Mr. Yang, Lassiter is still concerned about Shawn, so he confronts him in a conference room where they can air out some grievances... things don't go according to plan.
