Every day, on the Sunny my captain try to steal the food because he’s a bottomless pit; my swordsman try to steal the grog because he’s terrible; my navigator try to steal the food to sell me back the ingredients; my sharpshooter try to steal the food to prove he can do it; my doctor try to snuck experimental drugs into the food to make us test them; my archeologist try to steal the food because she find it funny; my carpenter try to steal my kitchen utensils to turn them into weapon and my musician try to steal my tobacco to make himself a joint. Almost every day they fail, because that’s how good and trained i am, so you don’t have half a chance.

Summary
For as long as Marco has known him, Ace has been standoffish. He's never deliberately cruel, but he's always been closed off from the rest of the crew. The walls he's built around himself are something they've all come to accept. The sky is blue, the sea is too, and yeah. Their youngest member is a little defensive and mean sometimes.
Or at least, he is until Monkey D. Luffy crashes onto their deck, all rambunctious laughter and stretchy limbs. Ace may be a pirate now, but he was a doting big brother first.
