Half-finished at the moment but now I'm just filling in the interim because 3/4 big pieces are finished and there's only one left to do. When the ambulance responded to the car crash outside, Marazzi didn’t even really think. The patient was in near critical condition—he would die if he wasn’t immediately moved to surgery.
“Page Doctor Solace!” he shouted to the nearest doctor, who nodded and ran. Marazzi sighed in relief as Will sprinted into the corridor, nearly tripping over another nurse in his haste to reach the patient.
“One victim of the crash, young adult male, we don’t know his identity yet,” he relayed. “He’s going to need emergency surgery!” To his surprise, his best doctor was silent as the grave. The supervisor turned his head.
Will stared at the body on the stretcher. His own face drained of blood, leaving him white as a ghost, and his eyes looked haunted—almost like shellshock. “I can’t do this surgery,” he rasped.
