Summary
The Hour of Joy has come and gone. Playtime is at the mercy of the Prototype and his loyalists, free to carve a new life out of the hell they have escaped. However, not all toys agree on following their new ‘savior’. To make matters worse, the powers that brought their existence about aren’t content to stand idly by and watch their investment squandered. At the turn of the century, two girls find themselves embroiled in the coming war between the Prototype and the survivors. Led on by their uncle’s mysterious behavior, they dive deep into a realm of nightmares and horrors, and must face terrible truths about the family they thought they knew.

It's been several months since the terror of Yamigedo was put to rest. For Gao and his friends, life has returned to normal and peace once again reigns. The Worlds across the cosmos are safe to rebuild and flourish, while new ones emerge from their isolation. Children and adults all around the world can now enjoy Buddyfighting to their heart's content.
Monsters, old and new, reunite with companions long thought forgotten. As myth is turned into fact, the new Worlds are quick to integrate themselves back into society, with no small amount of difficulty. Still, it is a welcome return and life continues as it is wont to do.
So peaceful was this period in time that no one would expect a new terror to arise in its place, to threaten the peace of the universe…

“AHHH!” Judy screamed as she turned the corner of her door and entered the living room. To her surprise, Nick was no longer locked away in his room. He sat on the couch, reclining carelessly in front of the TV, which he hadn’t bothered to prop onto the stand that Judy had purchased. But that was besides the point because Nick was naked! Or— more accurately, practically naked. He wore nothing but checkered boxers and a pair of fuzzy slippers.
“What are you doing?” Judy yelled, covering her eyes with her left paw.
“Um… watching TV…” Judy couldn’t see Nick’s face, but he sounded confused.
“I can see that,” she grimaced, “but why are you naked?” She peeked out from between the spaces in her paw.
Nick looked down at his boxer-clad body. “I’m not naked, I’m wearing my pajamas.”
“Gah!” Judy huffed in frustration. “You can’t just hang out in our shared spaces only wearing underwear! How would you feel if I did that.” She immediately blushed, realizing the image that she had just put in Nick’s head.

Set after the events of Zootopia 2, Nick and Judy move in together but quickly realize they still have a few differences to work through.
