"LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.txt.vbs" was one of the most destructive computer worms ever to have been released onto the internet. It was able to rapidly proliferate by hijacking its victims' email programs, sending copies of itself to everyone in their address books, concealed inside spam emails.
In other words, Spamton's come down with an intestinal parasite, and he doesn't appreciate its opinions on his love life.

Spamton still remembered with vivid clarity the buttery layers of a flaky croissant, the dulcet notes of cinnamon in pillowy soft rolls. When he closed his eyes, he could still picture the tart burst of blueberries when he bit into a piping hot muffin while Tenna gasped scandalously and accused him of cannibalism. But most of all, he missed the taste of vanilla whenever Tenna kissed him after a long yet successful day at the bakery.

Summary
It wasn't the same as it once was, to be fair. That was only to be expected, even if there wasn't the added issue of… everything Spamton had been through. It took a lot, admittedly, for Tenna to keep his mouth shut about just how sad it made him to think about. It wasn't like it would help anything.
(Besides, Spamton welcomed cuddling now. This alone practically made Tenna's entire life worth it.)
Unfortunately, one thing hadn't changed, and it was the fact that Spamton's physical health left a lot to be desired.
