Summary
Izuku was a creature of contradictions; kind and selfless to his core, but he didn’t get as far as he had by holding himself back from wanting what he couldn’t have. And today Katsuki had shut down his dreams in a way a decade of bullying never could.
He turned the starkly red tulip over and over in his hands; bile rose in his throat when he noticed the darker patches from blood stains.
When Katsuki discovers that Izuku's developed hanahaki because of him, he needs to figure out how to protect Izuku from himself.

Summary
He heard a voice behind him he thought he’d never hear again.
“Deku.”
The voice reverberated through his chest, much deeper than it had been in his childhood, but impossible to forget. His heart was suddenly thrumming like a hummingbird’s wings, sending a terrible mixture of excitement and dread surging through his body. He forced his suddenly heavy feet to move and turn his body to face his old childhood friend.
Izuku couldn’t remember a time before two of the defining elements of his childhood; his crippling fear of deep water and his admiration of Bakugou Katsuki. This summer at Camp UA, they would collide and change the course of his life once again.
