Summary
After everything was said and done, Valarr found himself riding his horse well behind the rest of the royal party.
He didn't mind having to go slower than he was used to when he traveled only with his servants and retinue, he only minded that he was constantly having to see ser Duncan straggling behind and pretending he was embarrassed to be there at all. Valarr had not been happy, obviously, to see the man joining them on the road, least of all that his uncle had invited him to accompany them to see Aegon to the official funeral in King's Landing.
It was enough that his father had died so shamefully, it was enough that Valarr had to see the man responsible day in and day out.

Summary
To celebrate the tournament at Ashford, King Daeron announces that the winner will marry an Omegan prince, and sends Aerion hoping that someone will deign to free them from this demon incarnate.
To save his son, Maekar takes his place.
To his dismay, everything indicates that the winner will be an unknown hedge knight who doesn't even have enough manners to take off his helm when talking to them.
To make matters worse, his prince brother, Baelor, keeps vanishing somewhere, as if his fate is of no concern to him.

Summary
A plane crash was a statistical anomaly, surviving one even more so. The odds were microscopic, laughable in their improbability. And yet Dr. Anicia Morrone had survived, defying mathematics and mortality alike, only to wake in a world infinitely crueler than the one she had left behind.
This was no bright descent into wonder, no whimsical detour where strangeness carried charm. There were no grinning cats perched in trees, no riddles over tea to soften the edges of the impossible.
This was not Alice in Wonderland, no, this was Anicia in the depths of Hades’ own imagining... though even that comparison felt generous. Hades, at least, had rules. Westeros had ambition.
She had intended to live quietly, to endure and adapt, to carve out a small and careful existence in a world that was not her own. But fate, it seemed, had little interest in her caution. Other plans were already in motion, threads that would entangle not only her own precarious survival, but the future of the realm itself.
And, most dangerously of all, a certain prince — heir to the Iron Throne.

Summary
“Why do you love him so much?”
The question lingered between them, trembling and terrible. The firelight threw her shadow across the floor, fractured and long, and the faint creak of the inn whispered like a warning in the silence.
“Most men despise him. They fear him. They mock him behind closed doors. Some curse his very name.” She swallowed. “And yet you do not.”
Valarr closed his eyes briefly. There were a thousand answers, and none that would ease her pain. When he opened them again, his gaze was steady.
“Because I see him,” he said simply. Not the prince. Not the reputation. Not the whispers. “He has never been what they believe him to be.”

Or, in which Valarr is torn between duty and love, and Aerion is a lustful brat.
