And surprisingly he has some help from someone he least expected, Tommy Kinard, who has become a lifesaver to both Buck and Eddie. But when Chimney is arrested and Jee-Yun is placed in Buck's custody, can Tommy and Eddie manage to keep Buck from drowning? Or will Eddie finally lose his best friend? And will Tommy lose the man that he quickly fell in love with? And just how long will it take for Buck to realize that he was madly in love with Tommy? One thing is for certain, this new family was in for some serious turbulence.

    Ash's stomach flutters nervously. He peers up at Ten from beneath the dark frame of his eyelashes, his maroon eyes glistening slightly. "You're being a little possessive right now."

    "I don't get possessive," Ten scoffs, zipping the hoodie all the way to the very top. "I get territorial."

    "I'm not yours," Ash asserts, partly to provoke a response. His heart quickens as Ten tilts his head, a gesture reminiscent of a Murkrow. His green eyes are impossibly dark, gaze lowering after a moment as he smiles, the corners not quite reaching his eyes.

    "Everyone else seems to think so," he says.
