Summary
Carlos isn’t stopped as he walks into the McLaren garage. The mechanics slide the privacy boards back into place in front of the garage with practiced ease and without comment. Carlos doesn’t know if anyone noticed how quickly he was moving to get here but it’s the last thing on his mind right now.
His old McLaren team all watch him, all of them in various states of concern. The submissives dip their heads respectfully and with obvious relief, while the Dominants nod, their own respect and relief clear to Carlos in their body language. Carlos doesn’t stop to talk to them and they don’t follow him.
He doesn’t stop moving until he reaches the room Andrea has set up some kind of office. Carlos doesn’t have to open the door, it’s opened for him by the mechanic who, Carlos realises as he enters the room, must be acting as security. Carlos doesn’t greet Andrea first, he goes straight to Lando.

Stiles lifted his hand and ghosted his fingers along Peter’s forearm.
It was lightning all over again, and Stiles yanked his hand back, only to have it caught in an unbreakable grip.
Frosty blue eyes burrowed into Stiles', and he couldn’t stop himself from gulping. The smirk on Peter’s lips grew as the corner of his mouth quirked higher, and he drew Stiles’ hand close to his face.
Peter’s nostrils flared slightly as he stared at Stiles’ soul mark. He pulled Stiles forward, pressing soft lips to Stiles wrist.

"You've been avoiding me," Peter says. Stiles just shrugs. "Are you going to tell me why, or do I have to guess?" Stiles would love to glare at him and snark back like they always do, but her nerves are just too frayed and she doesn't have it in her. Peter seems to sense this and frowns, his face morphing into one of concern. "Stiles..?"
He takes a few steps closer, slowly as if he's trying not to startle her and that makes her want to let out a hysterical laugh, but she keeps it in. He sets his hand on her shoulder, the other going to the side of her neck. He frowns at the way her pulse is racing, as if he needs to physically confirm what his ears are already telling him. She lets him touch her, knowing without even needing to think about it that he won't hurt her. She does let out a bitter little laugh at that. Well, physically he won't.
"What is it?" he asks and the genuine concern in his voice almost breaks her. He leans down and stares into her eyes, their faces so close, and she sees his nostrils flare. "You smell...different."
Well, that's her cue.
"I'm pregnant," she whispers.
