“Crab!” she nearly shouted while pointing towards the lobster.
Spencer looked at her quizzically, is he really going to argue with a two year old on whether this was a lobster or a crab? Yes. yes he was. “I'm pretty sure that’s a lobster..” he held his look but a smirk was slowly growing as the little girl shook her head.
“No, crab!” but she was smiling, Spencer didn’t know if it was because she knew she was wrong or if she found Spencer being ‘wrong’ amusing.

It was a lazy sunday morning in mid september, The last of the summer sun spilled through the curtains and the smell of old books and warmth filled the room. Maeve and Spencer were tangled together in bed as Spencer read the book he held aloud, it was a classic, The valley of fear by Arthur Conan Doyle.
The domesticity of it melted Maeve's heart and before she fully processed her words they were already tumbling out of her mouth, “What if we got married?”
“Mediocrity knows nothing higher than–wait, what?” Spencer paused, his eyebrows shot straight up, he wasn’t opposed to what he thinks he heard, but he had to confirm that’s what Maeve truly said. “Can-uh, can you repeat that.?”
