Summary
Buck could hear Eddie’s footsteps approaching and they made eye contact excitedly, readying themselves for the big reveal.
This was funny, right? Eddie would find this funny.
Haha?
The door swung open and Buck and Adriana greeted Eddie with two entirely innocent shit-eating grins. Neither were even remotely prepared for Eddie’s reaction.
“GET THE HELL OFF OF HIM.”
OR
Buck invites a random girl from the bar to move into his spare bedroom, not realizing she's actually Eddie's sister, Adriana. When they figure things out, they decide to prank Eddie into thinking they're sleeping together and things go horribly awry.

Summary
The vibrant hot pink material is supple as Eddie runs his fingers along the intricate flowery lace pattern. The see-through scalloped lace also has an open seam in the back all the way to the deep contoured pouch where a cock definitely goes.
So, not women's panties.
Eddie rolls his fingers across the material slowly, almost soothingly, and yet the blood in his veins pumps as though he were running a marathon. It almost feels like he's there but also like his mind is floating to the ceiling with the way he feels unmoored to his body.
Eddie isn't sure how long he stood there with the lace panties in his hands, but it isn't until they are suddenly pulled from his hand that he fully comes to himself.
"Whoops," Buck shouts as he steps into the room and stands in front of Eddie, shoving the panties into the pocket of his jeans as if that would hide their existence from Eddie. His face glows pink which makes his birthmark above his left eye stand out even more as it darkens into a rich red. "Those shouldn't be there."
When Eddie finds a pair of lacy pink panties in Buck's things, Eddie can't stop thinking about Buck wearing them.

“Show me,” Buck said, laughing to himself when Eddie jolted in surprise, his gaze finding Buck’s, “Dancing with Hen reminded you why you loved dancing so much in the first place, soooo, I'm not Hen but maybe I can be enough.”
“What?” Eddie gasped after the initial shock, and while he had half the mind to say no, he still took Buck’s hand between his own. “You want me to teach you Samba?”
Buck shrugged, a smirk on his face, “Unless you're all talk.”

"Or, I could, um," Buck hesitated. He didn't ever want to do anything that could negatively impact their friendship. Then again, he'd already stood there and watched red-faced as Eddie came. In for a penny, as the saying went. "Clean it up. For you."

Buck shrugged, pulse picking up. "Figured I'd say a quick prayer or something. Haven't been in one of these in years."
Eddie's eyes narrowed, playful. "Confession, maybe? Booth's free." He jerked his head toward the side aisle, where the wooden confessional sat like a relic, its door half-open.

Summary
Eddie hits his shoulder harder this time. "That's it!"
"What is?" Buck repeats his question from before, rubbing his shoulder like the movement hurt him —it didn't, Eddie is sure.
"You'll go with me! Like, you can act like you're my couple".
Buck looks at him, untethered before cracking the loudest laugh of the night.
"What's so funny?" Eddie asks with a half-showing smile as Buck keeps laughing and although he didn't mean to, he's happy to see him joyful again.
"Oh, you're being serious". He stops laughing slowly, shaking his head, showing that he's not really believing anything that his friend says. "What do you want us to do? To pretend we're together like in some teenage romcom?"

Eddie has an empty plus one for a destination wedding. Not wanting to meet his entire family by himself and being setted up, Buck and he make a deal: Buck can pretend to be his boyfriend and he would help him to get his happy ending after.

“Twenty-four hours,” Eddie says suddenly.
“What?”
“You’re wondering how long I have before I die,” Eddie explains. How did he— “Twenty four hours since that thing snapped on me, more or less. That’s what the army handbook said. For wounds like this, considering the risk of infection and all that.”
“You had a section on bear traps?”
“Okay, it was the boy scouts,” Eddie admits, his smile easing some of the anxiety in Buck’s stomach.Or: Eddie gets hurt on the road trip back from Nashville. Buck has twenty-four hours to save him.

Buck tries to commit the frame to memory, wills himself not to forget the important details—Eddie on his knees in front of him, his nails seeking purchase along Buck's thighs as he drinks him down, his drawn-out gasps when Buck returns the favor.
After, when Buck reaches out for quiet confirmation in the dark, asks him, "Good?"
Eddie tells him, earnest and hard-won, "Everything is good with you," and Buck can bask in the illusion of a world where he almost believes it.
Buck is trying to leave the past where it belongs. Then he wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Italy, convinces Eddie to join him, and falls headfirst into (not so) casual sex with his best friend.

Summary
The alpha steps around the curtain, tugging it closed behind him. It’s almost cute, that he thinks there’s any privacy in this place.
“Hi,” the alpha says, voice rough with desire. His scent spikes with it too, filling the space between them. “I’m Ed- Shit. Are we allowed to share names?”
Buck blinks at him in surprise. An alpha with a face like that—a body like that—speaking with so much uncertainty surprises him. Not to mention the polite way he keeps his eyes on Buck’s face, even as Buck stretches his legs out further, knowing how many alphas have been weak for them.
“There’s no rule,” he says slowly, wondering if maybe this is a trick, or some elaborate foreplay. “Most just don’t bother.”

Summary
“What do you think about?”
He thinks it’s a perfectly normal question to ask—who wouldn’t be curious about Eddie Diaz’s jerk off material? That’s just what being a good best friend means. Being curious. Asking the uncomfortable questions.
Eddie hesitates, lip caught between his teeth. “Nothing. Just—normal stuff. Ass, tits, shit like that.”
Buck raises his eyebrow at him skeptically. “Uh huh.”
“What?”
Affecting nonchalance, Buck shrugs. “You’re a detail-oriented person. I just… I don’t buy it. That you jerk off to the vague concept of a woman.”
Eddie huffs, cheeks going pink. Buck knows that look—he’s been caught in a lie.
“What do you think about?” Eddie asks, pivoting the conversation back to Buck.

Summary
Somehow, Buck has Eddie’s lip print on his cheek. Eddie has marked Buck as taken and his, and oh. This is what Buck wants. He can’t walk around with a hickey on his neck, no matter how much he wants to (and god does he want to). But this could scratch the itch, allow Buck to feel claimed, to feel like Eddie’s being a little possessive, while maintaining secrecy. He can wipe off the lip balm where Eddie’s lips branded him and pretend like they’re best friends and nothing more.
Honestly? It’s so hot.
or, Buck wants to be marked by Eddie so badly; Eddie obliges with lip balm, lipstick, and hickeys. They fuck about it.

Eddie was hoping to avoid this conversation, and he can’t even really begin to fathom how or when he would bring it up. I can hear you making yourself come a foot away from me.

“You just love having your mouth filled up, don’t you?” Eddie coos, pulling out his thumb to replace with his index and middle finger and Buck whines plaintively. “Suck."
Buck does, letting saliva pool in his mouth and swirling his tongue around the two digits. He feels them go deeper into his mouth, and he gags as they hit the back of his throat, before remembering to relax.
“Good boy,” Eddie praises, and Buck opens his eyes to look back up at him. He doesn’t even remember closing them. “Who knew needy little sluts could have such good manners?”

Summary
For as long as Buck could remember, Christmas had been his favorite time of the year. The lights and the decorations and the snow always made the world seem a little brighter and a little quieter. They could celebrate it at the hospital (or so he was told way, way after the fact). It was the one day a year that his parents actually paid him any attention that wasn’t a result of him injuring himself or doing something stupid.
This year, the quiet that Christmas brought was painful. The lights made his stomach clench uncomfortably. The music playing softly through the speakers of every store made him flinch. The tree at the firehouse stood in the corner, undecorated because that had always been Bobby’s job, and Bobby wasn’t here. He’d never put the star on top of the tree again.
__________________Buck isn’t really in the Christmas Spirit this year. Eddie (but mostly Christopher) does whatever he can to change that. They might just fall in love along the way.

Summary
“I'm not in love with you.” There’s a jolt in Eddie’s stomach at that. “I’m not secretly pining for you, or anything like that. I don’t even see you that way.”
“Oh,” Eddie says, then forces out a laugh he hopes sounds casual. Buck’s eyes are wide, honest, like he’s desperate for Eddie to be reassured by this admission, to believe him. And how much clearer could he be? He’s not in love with Eddie. That’s fine. Eddie never expected him to be. His now empty beer bottle hits the counter too loudly, “No, of course not.”

As Eddie drives away to Texas to see his son, he realizes that half of his heart is in El Paso, but the other half is with Buck in LA, getting smaller in his rear-view mirror.
“Eddie?! Did you forget something?,” Buck asked, sitting up quickly and wiping the tears from his eyes onto the sleeve of Eddie’s hoodie.
“Yeah, I did.”
“Can I help you find it?”
“You’re right here,” Eddie said softly, blinking tears out of his own eyes.

Buck’s eyes flashed.
“Oh, so you’re all buddy buddy with Chim now. Good to know”
Eddie blinked.
“What? Buck where is that coming from?”
“Oh, I don’t know”
Buck said bitterly.
“Maybe because it was Hen, and now it’s Chim, and what, you need a whole committee to talk about me behind my back?”
“Buck, what the hell?”
Eddie said, stunned.
“I wasn’t-“
But Buck kept going because the dam finally cracked.
“You kissed me, Eddie!”
he shouted, voice trembling.
