Sapphire's blog becoming popular wasn't part of his plans, nor making new friends, but he's having fun for the first time in years.
Good things had never lasted for him, though.
When his past returns to haunt him just as he was starting to feel happy and comfortable, Lance is forced to confront all his fears.
Feeling lost, he can't help but ask himself: Has he been pretending to be the kind of person he never was?

Summary
Set months before the events of Dark Era, Dazai and Chuuya were assigned to solve a series of cases that aim to bring Port Mafia down… and they had to do it with Mori Ougai’s visiting niece, a mysterious ability user.
Dazai Osamu would later refer to these collections of incidents as “The Crimson Summer”. He would never talk about it with anybody, because everyone who could remember that summer had forgotten… except him.
Even Nakahara Chuuya had forgotten, even if it was characteristic of Chuuya to bear grudges.
But of course, this all happened according to Dazai’s plan — that Chuuya should forget about what they shared that summer, his part in the unfortunate events that followed... and most of all, that woman.

Chuuya Nakahara is fifteen and he's angry at the world. This causes... incidents, also known as 'destruction of property charges' leading to... consequences, also known as 'court mandated group therapy'. This gives rise to a whole 'nother problem in Chuuya's life, also known as Dazai Osamu.
