Summary
There are photos on the wall taken from impossible angles, or of events that March never should have had the time to take a picture of. It is Himeko’s heart that powers the Astral Express, the engine throbbing in time with its beat. The engine quickens whenever the world seems to slow and Stelle is bored, just as unable to stay still. The Express fashions the tracks in the exact length of Welt’s feet and they lead, more often than not, to a place with at least one library for Dan Heng these days.

Yoo Joonghyuk is minding his own fucking business, reading the latest update to a novel on his phone while in the train, heading home for the day, and then his life flashes before his eyes.
His vision goes black. His knees buckle and he’s narrowly saved by his hand flying out to grip one of the poles on the train, stabilising himself before he crumples into a pile on the ground.
Slowly, as if afraid to face the truth, he drags his eyes up to the carriage number.
3707 stares back bleakly at him.

“I've got a theory about this story. Reader YJH is YJH, but he's a YJH from a worldline that didn't have scenarios, where KDJ never existed or already passed, which is why the copy of ORV made it's way to the other half of Life and Death Companions. That's why Reader YJH has the same name, personality, habits, ect. So the events of this fic are basically what happens when you dump 0th turn YJH into the body of 3rd turn YJH with all of the knowledge of ORV. I think it's very beautiful that way, because that means if one half of Life and Death Companions is having a hard life, the other half's story spurs them to continue on. It also makes sense, if one YJH gets taken out due to a cosmic error, the best thing to do is sub in another YJH.”

Amazing and worth reading and recently updated. The characters are funny and unreliable narrators, but in such a way that you can at least tell that they are unreliable and that there is more going on under the surface. It is also such a unique premise.
