A few months after the Immortal Alliance Conference, Shen Qingqiu begins having nightmares of a life that isn’t his own. A life where he is a small slave boy, used by his master as more than a punching bag. After a few nights, these dreams begin to bleed into his life, to the point where he can’t differentiate what memories are his and which ones are Shen Jiu’s.
The other peak lords take notice how strange Shen Qingqiu is behaving. How they can no longer touch him without seeing fear in his eyes. How he quickly loses focus and seemingly forgets where he is. Summary
Jiang Cheng opens the letter at the top of today’s pile, pulling it out absently and beginning to read. His apathetic expression is soon replaced with a smile as he does, seeing who it’s from, reading all the inane things about daily life in the three double sided pages enclosed.
“How come you never bring me anything nice anymore?” Jin Ling had whined at him the last time he’d seen him, on a working visit to Koi Tower.
They always manage to squeeze in a bit of time to spend time with each other under those circumstances, but it’s difficult sometimes, depending on the agenda and who else is involved, and how tight Jiang Cheng’s schedule is for returning to Lotus Pier.
“Spoiled brat. You’re a grown man! You don’t need me to bring you gifts. How come you never write anymore?” He’d shot back. He’d meant it as just a snarky response, but after the words had left his mouth he’d found he’d actually meant them. His nephew rarely writes anymore. He misses it.
A series of short drabbles focusing on Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling's relationship that all take place in the same continuity, but are out of chronological order.

“Jiang Zongzhu is pregnant…”
The rest of the conversation faded into a distant murmur as Wei Wuxian found himself spiraling down a hole of dark thoughts. Could it be true? Was Jiang Cheng actually pregnant? How was that even possible, the matter of the sect motto being set aside. He knew his shidi well enough to know that Jiang Cheng wouldn’t actively go out and try to defy logic by getting himself pregnant on purpose. No, that sounded like more of something he himself would do. Not Jiang Cheng.
Which only left one other option. Someone or something must have forced themself upon his shidi for that to happen. And the thought of that… It was as if something had triggered inside of him, the darkness he had long ago fought to suppress, and had thought laid dormant since his resurrection, flared to life within him. The world around him turned red as he imagined himself killing whoever had dared to touch his precious shidi.
