Derek jumped, having momentarily forgotten Scott was on the phone with him because Stiles had started moving. He’d stalked over to the other side of the cave, still eying Derek warily and growling, then settled protectively over a mass of clothes, leaves and animal innards. The boy who gave Stiles a chocolate frog when he started to get scared of being away from home for too long, the closer the train brought them to Hogwarts. The boy with green eyes speckled with gold; eyes that matched the deep green color of the Slytherin house, but held a welcoming warmth of kindness.
The boy who, on that sunny spring day by the Forbidden Forest, hugged Stiles at his most vulnerable.

Derek stared- no words leaving him as his eyes roved over the bare skin and the art that adorned it. The lithe muscles of his abdomen were inked with thick, Celtic knotwork as well as more animals- both mystical and humane- and the biggest of all, resting right above his heart and seeming to glow against the pale skin: the Hale triskelion.
Stiles returns from college and spark-training to see his favorite Sourwolf and the pack- covered in tattoos. And Derek is...sharply curious. And in the end, entirely helpless.

“There are no wolves in California, Mr. Daehler,” the principal said, sounding exasperated, like this was the third time she’d said it to him.
“Well clearly there are!” he shouted back, showing such a lack of respect for the woman, Stiles had to applaud her for her fortitude not to smack him in the face.
“Perhaps you were mistaken,” she said calmly.
“No I wasn’t fucking mistaken,” Matt insisted, sounding incensed. “No way these were dogs, they were massive!”
For a second, Stiles felt like the world had slowed considerably as those words wormed their way into his brain. Because—he knew a dog that was massive. Honestly, he’d also brushed away the idea of the dog being a wolf because there were no wolves in California.
But... what if there were?
Holy shit, had Stiles literally spent his lunch break with a fucking wolf cuddled into his side while he pet it?! Good God, he was lucky to still have all his limbs!

The problem is, Sebastian is certain that Ominis could never feel the same way about him.
As his feelings grow throughout their 6th year, as does Sebastian's impatience.
The sight of a kiss, a teasing poltergeist, and a secret coming out. As the Christmas break arrives Sebastian is ready for some time alone.
