Summary
Ivan had always been a thorn in Till’s side. It had been that way since they were children, whenever Ivan could bother Till, he did. So it should really come as no surprise that Ivan even invaded his fever-riddled dreams. His sleep was fitful on a good day, even more so when he was sick but the dreams only made things worse. They were so vivid, as if he was really living them and the content of them was all the more concerning.
Normally, Till barely remembered his dreams but these ones were too real to forget. They were life altering because in these fever dreams, he found himself in compromising positions with his childhood best friend. In them, Ivan’s touch was feather light, almost reverent in nature, but it carried a touch of urgency, of some unspoken longing, bordering on desperation. He was dreaming of Ivan’s sure hands tracing invisible patterns on his body, while his mouth pressed chaste, uncertain kisses all over, from his own lips, down his jaw, to his throat. It was all so real that when Till awoke in a cold sweat to his phone ringing, he was almost positive it had really happened.
