Hi, Kazuma here.
Last year I was wrongly charged for a crime I didn’t commit. What happened, you ask? I, uh, would really not like to go into the details, just know that I was innocent, I swear.
Because of it, I was sent on probation to Tokyo to continue school. My parents were probably happy to send their hikikomori son away from home. Thus, I was now forced to attend school, despite coming out from a life of seclusion and having a fragile social constitution, and each day I feel so drained I could just curl into a ball and cry.
Also, I’m living in an attic atop my legal guardian’s bar. She’s an old friend of my parents, and when I arrived I thought she was pretty cute, but after having to hear her complain for hours to no end of not being able to get a boyfriend, I reconsidered my interest.
Other than that. Well, there is one good thing. Thanks to my “after school activities”, I get to act like a hero of an anime! I have superpowers, I can fire guns, defeat monsters, the whole shebang, the complete enchilada!
It would be perfect if it wasn’t for my teammates.

Itachi wakes when she hears her alarm, a heavy bass riff that keeps building up, but she only opens her eyes enough to find her phone and shut it up. Her face drops in her pillow again, semi-unconscious. Soon enough, sleep claims her again-
Her second alarm, a death metal hysterical singer that makes her jump out of her bed and to the floor. She tries very hard not to chuck her phone out the window in that very moment.
Finally, she silences the second alarm and by memory alone gets herself clothed in her sweat pants, an undershirt, and a sweatshirt. She dragged a comb across her head as she smothered her messy bed head.
She gets out of her room, finds her way downstairs and prepares herself a cup of coffee. As she did, she eyes a newspaper left alone on the dorm's kitchen table. It was open at a page that displayed an old, 60s war film being shown in a nearby theatre.
She drinks her cup, and looking up she notices she's just about to be late to her morning run. She finds her headphones and grabs her hair tie before leaving.

Those memories would haunt him for some time at the very least. They weren't as vivid as this afternoon, but they were still there. Eventually, he hoped, they would fade.
After all, those memories didn't actually happen. He fought very hard to make sure they wouldn't happen again
