“How am I to know that your clan will adhere to a peace agreement with the Uchiha?” Madara asked with a raised eyebrow.
Tobirama considered it. “A marriage. You marry someone within our clan. That should unite both of our clans, and keep the alliance strong.”
“An arranged marriage? Surely you jest. The Uchiha do not practice such conventions. Try something else.”
“You can choose who you marry. It won’t be arranged. I will personally guarantee that you get enough time to meet every eligible Senju woman, and you may marry any of them.”
Madara considered. His dark eyes watching Tobirama. “That is acceptable.”

Izuna hummed and looked at Tobirama, whose face looked eerily peaceful when it wasn’t schooled into that permanent scowl Madara was accustomed to. ‘Heh. I didn’t think he likes you that much.’ He tilted his head, as if he was trying to connect some dots in that little shrivelled brain of his, smirking a little too impishly for Madara's taste.
‘I had a suspicion, to be honest.’ Touka grumbled from beside her cousin, throwing Madara a dirty look.
Tobirama? Liking him? And what on earth gave those two such an impression? If anything, the scroll containing details on his sharingan pointed at an unhealthy obsession of some sort, which was more than a little creepy. ‘Would you care to expand on that?’
Madara finds out about Tobirama's peculiar way of showing affection. He's left to figure out what to do with that knowledge.

Summary
He is almost resolved to leave the young man to his fate in the snow, sad though it may be, but then the man falls to his knees, obviously exhausted, shouting something into the wind, and Madara sees his face clearly for the first time.
Fae Madara rescues human Tobirama, and while he doesn't want to force Tobirama into anything, well. It's not like the humans were treating him properly or anything.
