Summary
Katsuki had spent well over a decade trying to sever the connection between he and Izuku, his pride preventing him from seeking an alternative that did not involve such harsh methods.
When he’d peered into Izuku’s eyes and felt nothing, Katsuki had counted it as a win. Kept up the cruelties, kept looking into those eyes just to affirm that yes, he had won and was still winning.
Victory had become synonymous with severing their bond.
That, he would later realise, was his mistake. His downfall.
And the fates had never been known for their forgiveness. Like Katsuki, they could be cruel.
Soulmate bonds manifest when two soulmates meet each others’ eyes and are overwhelmed by the sense of knowing. But one cannot know—cannot learn when they have already decided their own truths are absolute.
Katsuki declared war on destiny, decreed that there was not a chance in hell his soulmate would be Izuku Midoriya, and the fates acquiesced to his demand.
The bond had been broken by his own hubris.
Katsuki was not Izuku’s soulmate.
That did not mean Izuku was not his.

Summary
Ladybug asks Chat Noir to help her to get Adrien to fall out of love with her. Yes, you read that right, to fall OUT of love.
What? I know crazy, right? I've read a number of fanfics in which Marinette pretends to be Adrien's girlfriend/fiance to fool Chloe and/or Gabriel. I wanted to try reversing it and have Marinette ask Adrien to be her faux boyfriend, but could not think of a likely scenario. But, then it hit me that it would work for Ladybug and Chat to fool Adrien.
