Tyler simply tilted his head at her, perhaps reminding her that she underestimated him once. Maybe it would be unwise to do so again.
“What are you doing here?” She tried again.
He leaned into her space confidently and she had half a mind to think that he was going to laugh directly in her face. “You’ve been looking for me”, he reminded her, “…it shouldn’t be a surprise that I’ve been looking for you too.”

Wednesday Addams is trying to move on from the previous semester's events, wondering why she can't stop dreaming and thinking of a certain Hyde. When turning up in her dorm room, it seems Tyler himself is reluctant to let Wednesday move on - wanting to prove to her that she can trust him again.

Ajax Petropolus is desperately in love with Enid Sinclair and wants to date her properly, but he can’t, because his colorful, bubbly almost-girlfriend refuses to leave her gloomy roommate all alone. So Ajax takes matters into his own hands: he hires his friend, Tyler Galpin — a broke college student juggling classes, a barista job at the campus café, and music band to do the impossible: seduce Wednesday Addams.

Summary

The hunt for the culprit leads right into Tyler’s past and makes him question whether what he believes about himself is actually true. The events that happened at willow hill that night went different to what Wednesday had originally planned.
She hadn't planned for Laurel to free Tyler from his confinements. sure she knew that if he got free she'd be his main target but she had hoped that Willow Hill would at least be competent enough to keep him locked up.
Instead Tyler is freed and somehow she winds up being abducted.

Wednesday is inexplicably tired, in a way she has never felt before, nor does she enjoy. Little does she know, Tyler Galpin is battling the exact same emotions as she is, with no explanation. When it becomes clear an old Addams Family curse it to blame, Wednesday must search for answers in some of the most unlikely of places, such as asking her mother for help and becoming friends with a cupid outcast, all while battling with these strong feelings that seem to be affecting her psychic abilities. As it turns out, Wednesday may not be the independent young woman she was so sure of, and falling in love absolutely does not make her weak. It may actually strengthen her in more ways than one.

Her breath hitched, eyes lovely and crazed, and, damn it, she was all he could see in the whole universe, the only thing possessing his mind. The corner of her lips—the lips he so desperately needed to claim once more—quirked up. “Likewise.”

Falling into a situationship and still finding themselves there eight months later, Wednesday refuses to question why she continues seeing him as she ploughs heedlessly toward the final page; meanwhile, Tyler fights his own demons - and his growing desire for more than a situationship.
