I cannot call this a good fic. I can call it a great fic, a wonderful piece of literature, but not a good fic. This fic is not about good people. This fic is about a small child being emotionally, physically, and socially gutted due to the actions of truly evil people. In this fic we see Harry's life as it is systematically torn down into shreds by a petty leech of a man, his cruel and jealous relatives, the unthinking and mocking public, and a mother who has been drugged into more of an automaton then a person. This is not a good fic, but I can call it an excellent piece of literature on all the wrong ways to treat a child. People should read this.

With the way this story was written I could totally imagine a timeline out there where they made a Dragon Ball Heroes character named Yamcha (Kami). Beautiful story and excellent character writing. Yamcha is still the same old power level, but he never needed to be stronger in the manga/anime to be a better character. In this fic Yamcha is allowed to flourish exclusively due to TiedyedTrickster's prose with character dynamics and subtle world building.
