Reading a fic from over a decade and a half ago feels like I unearthed how it feels like to be part of fandom all those years ago. A literal drag path that I'm so grateful for withstanding the tests of time and allowed me to read so much depiction of love, all these years into the future.
The ending feels bittersweet, like two birds dancing in a gilded, glorified cage. But then they found love either way, so what else can I ask for.

This fic is a behemoth worth reading and I will always love and appreciate authors who do multichapter fics and have said chapters be PACKED to the brim with storytelling.
This fic is unfinished, but that doesn't detract from its original value. If anything, with the way things are now (with the last update being from 2023, 57/58 chapters published), I would say the last chapter already did a good job of tying everything up neatly. It's open-ended, as unfinished fics usually are, and I think that's a fitting end to a behemoth of a plotline and character developments happening left and right. Long live to Charasuke and Menma, and also to Naruto and Sasuke. I hope that whichever way the author decides to conclude this story, whenever that may be, they will all find one another over and over again, across all timelines and across universes. That's how I interpreted the love the author wrote them with, at least.
