Summary
Something in the back of his mind says that falling asleep is a bad idea, but damn does his body crave it. He’s exhausted, the chaos energy that usually circulates inside feels as if it's slipping away. Which in theory with all his inhibitors on shouldn’t be possible. Rolling his eyes around lets him catch four distinct shines of gold. So he’s not breaking apart due to an overload, but that doesn’t explain his draining power.
Looking down to his left wrist reveals that his communicator has gone dark, screen smashed most likely during the collapse. No easy way out, as if he ever gets one anyway. Taking in a stuttered breath, he does the only thing he can do; keep moving.
His arms slide forwards, gloved paws grip tight to the twisted metal of what looks to have once been the metal of a stair railing, and pull forward.
Boy, what a mistake that is.

At the time, it wasn’t worth pushing the conversation. He’d been too tired after that first day, staying up all night with the guards hidden in the underwater caves deep below the Palace. No one had been willing to even converse with him besides Muzu. All that he was told was to stay alert and stay awake, that it was the king’s orders. So he did, as diligently as any young Prince would. The outcome had led to the harsh thumps of the ground above sounding all throughout the night; before dying out suddenly with a loud trumpet.
A day later he’d been brought back to the surface, swiftly guided under Muzu’s care only to be promptly shuttered in his chambers. No one would answer when he asked where his sister was, or why his Father refused to leave his own chambers.

The Calamity has been defeated, The Hero and Princess working tirelessly to help rebuild the land of Hyrule. For their part, Zora's Domain works hard to rid themselves of the Lizalfo camps surrounding their land, a mission lead personally by Prince Sidon. However during battle, he finds his control over his instincts lacks more than he'd believed. It lands him in a rather terrifying situation. One Link fears he may not wake from.

It was hard work being Marinette sometimes. Life found a way to be quite demanding on her, but since she’d found this Prince of hers, the harsh realities seemed to dissipate. While he may be a handful, she could only find herself grateful to have him involved in her life; both as a Heroic Duo, or as a waiting Princess.

That name that felt like the gentle caress of a mother’s hand; he never knew touch could be so kind. That name that felt like he could love, and he could be loved. These broken hands hurt. They had caused pain and been through unimaginable pain themselves. They were cracked and rough and tainted and they fell apart with every new bad memory that forced itself onto him just like other broken hands that only ever knew how to hurt him. They burned, these broken hands. They were unsteady and scarred and had been so unkind to him in the past.
