Summary
Within a week of meeting, an identical Mark appears on soulmates, gray and lifeless until a touch binds them together for life. The problem is that meeting a soulmate can be as easy as walking down a road on the opposite side as them, both people not even sharing a single glance, and not knowing it for a week. Or it can be as complicated as riding in on a train from a packed city like Atara and being the only one to step off on the platform at Sandrock which is where Mi-an finds herself a week after getting settled in. How is she supposed to go about finding her soulmate when the small city seems to be falling apart every other day?

Alas, he was a Sandrocker first and foremost, and could not commit himself to fully abandoning his hometown. Not even when the rank and unwashed masses dragged their fashion-challenged selves into his chair. Pablo accepted them all into his care in the hopes of slowly but surely leading them down the right path one careful clip at a time. But, by the Light, there were some who tested even his own sainted patience, and while the sample group was small he was firmly of the opinion that he could just say that was a thing all monster hunters had in common.

He'd gone straight from sweating out a fight against a group of plierimps trying to settle into his and Haru's landing spot, to swinging onto the train with guns out.
