“So, I have to look after the girls until mom's back,” Reki explains tiredly, absently batting Chihiro’s fingers away as she tries to stick them up his nose. Nanaka is wrapping herself around his leg like some kind of parasite, watching Langa closely.
“I can stay and help if you want,” Langa says, causing Reki’s tired eyes to immediately light up. Langa can’t help but smile softly as he sees the peachy blush prickle its way across Reki’s cheeks. He shakes his head.
“Nah, man, you don’t want to spend all day looking after my little sisters,” Reki immediately refuses. Langa shrugs.
“Maybe not. But I want to hang out with you,” he says, honestly.

Langa helps Reki look after his little sisters and playing pretend ends up revealing more than he'd bargained for.

Summary
Reki yanks the window open, the croon of the cicadas not as bad as it could be, before turning back to see Langa has pulled his shirt off. He discards it in a pile with Reki’s, just standing there next to the bed and watching him with hooded eyes.
Reki tries not to let his eyes wander, but it's impossible. There’s something magnetic about Langa, the same thing that’s been drawing him in since that first day outside Dope Sketch.
A tug which pulls them together despite everything else.

Just touch-deprived Langa thinking about how much he likes Reki's hands. And how much he likes Reki.
He’d close his eyes to savor it, all the callouses and faded scars and the scratch of bandaids that seemed to nuzzle right back- familiar and safe. That’s what Reki was. Familiar and safe and so, so warm. And when Langa’s eyes fluttered open, Reki would already be caressing his other cheek, holding him gently between each hand while studying him with those sunset eyes.
Langa had no idea how he’d gotten so lucky for the sun to set on him.

Katsuki’s breathless, held between them like this. It’s like being a little kid again, waking up from a nightmare to crawl between them in their bed. Mitsuki was never softer with him than in those moments, sleep-heavy and blearily looking up at him just to curl herself around him, Masaru effortlessly and thoughtlessly joining to sling an arm across both their hips.
It feels like that now, being surrounded by them. He wants to duck his forehead against her chest, feel her heart against his cheek, feel the steady rhythm of Masaru’s lungs on his back, their legs tangled up together.

Shouto pressed a kiss to the top of his head, and Katsuki felt himself flushing despite the circumstances. Despite the sadness in his heart, there was something he could hold close to his chest, too.
“Wouldn’t we be the same?” Shouto asked, blunt as always. That made Katsuki pause, lean further into the contact as he thought about his quirk never being in his palms, no way for his palms to flicker and release explosions.
When an encounter with a villain leaves Katsuki and Shouto unable to use their quirks, they struggle to accept themselves as they are.
