    Summary

It felt like Bill’s entire existence was defined by him accomplishing things that should be impossible, for good or ill.

It should have been impossible to have been born and survived; his single eye in the middle of his body instead of a pair on opposite edges and all of his organs getting shoved around to accommodate that rather major change shouldn’t have worked. It should have been impossible to see the stars and the third dimension. It should have been impossible to show all of Euclydia those beautiful and impossible stars and everything that surrounded their dimension.

...All right, that impossibility did end badly, but he did accomplish it.

It should have been impossible to take over the Nightmare Realm. It should have been impossible to slow the destabilization of the Nightmare Realm enough to give them time to find a solution. It should have been impossible to find and convince any of the humans to build an interdimensional portal. And even if he could manipulate one, it should have been impossible to find one capable of putting together the technology to actually succeed.

It should have been impossible for a night of karaoke and drinks in Ford’s mind to have any actual consequences…

    Summary

It had been two days since the twins had arrived in Gravity Falls. Mabel had already made friends with her uncles, the overly hairy mail man, and sixteen tourists. Dipper on the other hand was…not having the best time adapting.

He felt watched walking around every corner. Not to mention his “caregivers” for the summer weren’t exactly, conventional. One stayed in his office for the entire day, and made Dipper sweat uncontrollably every time he looked his way. The other spent his days hustling scams and selling tacky clutter. The third…well words couldn’t really describe him, Dipper just tried to avoid him at every moment.

When suddenly, Dippers world was turned upside down after a mysterious journal fell into his hands. Or really, found in a hidden hatch in the middle of the woods-but that’s besides the point.

Now with this journal, an author who seems to be living a bit too close to home, and a whole town ready to be explored. Summer began to seem a lot less boring.

But when adventure arrives, so does danger. The more the twins begin to stuff their noses into the hidden underbelly of the town, they soon realise not everyone can be trusted. Even famiy.

    Summary

Stanford Pines and Bill Cipher are impossibly entangled with one another, like a knot beyond unraveling. To break the bond between them would require cutting the knot out entirely, severing a large portion of each of them in the process.

Or, Stanford knows about the barrier keeping Weirdmageddon contained prior to being captured, changing the course of the apocalypse. Statement Abnegation is a psychological horror novel following the complicated relationship between an imprisoned Ford Pines and his captor.

This story is so gutwrenchingly beautiful man. The ending got me sobbing all over the place
