Summary
James Robespierre's childhood seemed like a dream, in the beginning. A beautiful, loving mom, a mysterious and cool detective for a dad. A happy little family, together.
But as the years moved on, the dream began to fade, and this little boy's eyes were opened to the reality around him. Mom and dad weren't in love. Not anymore, at least. Dad was never home anymore, missing his games, his birthdays, his life. Whenever he was, his mom hated his guts.
It was hard to sit through it, watch it all happen. To watch his dad drive away. But it would set him down a path towards a truth he never even knew was there, mysteries and revelations right under his nose.
Home in the rear view mirror, his life takes a turn he'd never have believed when he was little. Reunions, break-ins and new employment take hold of the path ahead of him, and he's gotta say... the accommodations are rather cushy. He could get used to this.Series

This is one of the cutest fics I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Honestly left me misty eyed from the sheer sweetness by the end. Incredibly entertaining all the way through, very amusing dialogue, a fantastic premise. Please please read this one, it is such a treat.

STUNNING piece, of complicated dynamics and the secrecy of a doctor that is much more than he seems. A toxic relationship with a neighbor, a healthy partnership with a serial killer, and doves! The pacing is absolutely wonderful, the writing is thoughtful and dynamic, the vocabulary is exceptional, and the balance of tension and levity is perfection. Absolutely worth the read. A piece I find highly inspiring!

Summary
Sleep is a thing hard to come by. This isn't news for Spy, no, but what does become news is the fact that this is something Engie struggles with as well. Nightmares, insomnia, a haunting past: the whole package deal. It sets off alarms blaring in Spy's mind, bringing him to the realization of how little he knows about Engineer in the first place, so he sets out to do what any man worth his dignity would do: some good recon with the intention of figuring out the puzzle that Engie's turned out to be.
Spy is good at minding his own business: a professional at it, even, especially when he makes other's business his own.
(Or, the fic where Spy starts to visit Engie's workshop at night with three different excuses, all of them true, only one of them voiced: nightmares, curiosity and a search for connection. Surprisingly, he's not the only one those three words can apply to.)

Delightful Bloody Suit piece. Mirroring and history, a intimate understanding of one another that transcends the battlefield, and perhaps a certain interest building just beneath the surface. That kind that leads to confusion, mistakes, and something more than mere enemies. Sides may be forgotten, or they might drown themselves in rivalry to avoid succumbing to these feelings that have no place in war.

EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE EVER WANTED AND MORE, MY TWO CURRENT HYPERFIXATIONS MASHED TOGETHER AND MIXED WITH MILK, SALT, BUTTER AND GARLIC, TOPPED WITH CHOPPED GREEN ONION AND FRESH CRACKED BLACK PEPPER. Absolutely delightful work thus far, I cannot wait to see how the story progresses and how these goofballs grow together, the unshakable bonds that will be formed. A family in the making. Will they be able to part ways in the end, or will it be too painful? The turtles must return home, return to their family and friends. But at the price to lose the new ones they've made, stranded out here in time and space. Will it ever be possible to meet again? Or will this all one day become a distant memory to them all?
