Some days he pretends not to know what Clark has come for; he’ll offer him two fingers of scotch or a round of pool, and Clark will agree but always with a tinge of disappointment. Lex would prefer to get straight to the point, today, so he waves Clark over.
“Here,” he gestures to the spot next to him.
Clark moves quickly— always extremely quickly— to the spot he’s told, but takes his time to sink to his knees next to Lex, gingerly placing his forehead down on Lex’s thigh.
