Summary
Ethel is feeling clucky — she's between daughters at the moment, the last few having foolishly gotten themselves offed by daring do-gooders. What is a hag without her coven? Well, traditionally, far less stressed and aggravated, but it's the principle of the thing! Baldur's Gate is plump with fat, nosy little children who would make fine little hags, and so she sets up her nest.
She wasn't expecting a bloody cuckoo to come walking straight in without knocking.

Summary
It's winter in Waterdeep, and the holidays are coming thick and fast. Moonfest, Simril, Wintershield, Midwinter — there's a festival for everyone in the City of Wonders, it would seem. But most importantly, it's the first winter for the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Ulutar-Dekarios of Waterdeep, and Gale has planned for some festive cheer.
He just forgot to tell Ryme'dra about his plans.

Summary
For many decades, Rhyme's life hasn't exactly been a stroll in the park. After escaping her tormentors, defeating the Netherbrain, and finally regaining her body half a year later, she is now happily married to Gale and enjoying the quiet, almost boring days of domesticity. Life is better than it has ever been.
So what if the little magic home improvements that Gale has installed start failing one by one? That's nothing to be upset or worried about… right?

The Black Hand of Bane by aqeldroma

Summary
Wherein the Dark Urge discovers the truth behind her memory loss, goes on a journey of self discovery that ends up being more of a trail of corpses, and decides to take over the world.
Everything can be read as a standalone, and everything is in chronological order.
Where to start reading:
1: Pre-canon Dark Urge. One-shots prior to the longfics are pre-tadpole and pre-canon stories. Expect the usual atrocities.2: Ruin's tale: The two longfics are an arc with a 1st POV of post-tadpole Dark Urge. Begin with Under the Black Hand, which is an Act 3 revision (starts off where you think, does not end where you think) and is the only story taking place during the events of the game. Closing the Fist picks up one month post-canon (how actually will you take over the world? it's complicated).
3: Gortash's tale: POV third, picking up on trauma from House of Hope and continues the post-canon journey, starts with Down Comes the Claw.
4: Multi-POV (Minthara/Ruin/others): Alternating POV 1st and third, The Grip of Steel starts 1 year post-game. This longfic will bring this tale to its finale.

Summary
A little way ahead, she can see Gale already waiting; he’s half-leaning, half-sat against a low wall, leather satchel at his side, an open book in hand. She feels it, then, the slow-spreading bloom of warmth in her chest at the sight of him.
She thinks of slowing her pace. An attempt to suspend or hold back the march of time as she indulges in a brief moment of observation to remind herself, once again, that this is real, he’s real—but she calls out to him before she can stop herself.
A little slice of post-canon life in Waterdeep for Gale and Rhyme.
