“Hey, Chim,” Eddie says, turning his attention to their new captain.
“Mh?”
“Buck and I have a present for you!”
“For me?” “We do?” Chim and Buck ask at the same time.
“Our present for you is a day off from parent duty. You and Maddie can do whatever you want to celebrate Captain Han and we will babysit the kids,” Eddie explains with a smile.
From the corner of his eye he can see how Buck cocks his head for a moment before his smile returns in full force as he hugs Jee-Yun closer to his body. “Do you hear that, Jee Jee? You’re getting a whole day of uncle Buck and uncle Eddie time. Isn’t that exciting?”
Or a post 9x01 fic in which a baby monitor and a overheard love confession might just give Eddie everything he's ever wanted.

“You saying I wouldn’t treat you right?” Eddie stands and puts his hands on his hips, because apparently it’s that serious. “Let me tell you something, Buck, I’d blow your mind.”
When Buck jokingly says he wouldn't date Eddie, Eddie sets out to prove he'd be an amazing boyfriend. Platonically, of course, because they're just best friends. And nothing more.

In this universe men getting pregnant is just as common as women and I completely ignored the whole Buck helping his friends have a baby story line! This is his first time getting anyone pregnant lol! It had to be Eddie ;) )

It’s filled with sepia, prints from the San Francisco Public Library according to the blurb and a news article referring to the day as Gay Day.

The last thing Eddie had been expecting to see when he made his way over to where Buck was sitting on the couch, was Buck hunched over his phone, Taylor’s contact pulled up and thumb hovering over the call button.
“Woah, woah, what are you doing, Buck?” Eddie collapsed next to him, swiping the phone out of his hand. He locked it and tucked it in his pocket for good measure. He was a bit surprised that Buck didn’t protest, he just let him steal his phone.
“I don’t know,” Buck groaned, slouching against the couch. He scrubbed at his face, sighing miserably. “I just…I guess I just wanted to know. When she and I were together… was I bad? In bed, I mean.”
Or, the one where Buck is concerned he might be bad in bed and Eddie has a solution. Since this is an idiots to lovers romance, they don't properly talk about things and a misunderstanding happens.
