You need to read Shadow Sister to understand it and I warn you there's another cliffhanger but I'm working on the third piece, promise! I love to things about any TMNT content and that is Donatello and giving him juicy angsty storylines. Enjoy!

So since I'm off to see Ghostbusters Afterlife tomorrow and buzzing, I raked up this oneshot I wrote yeeeeears ago and didn't upload for some reason. ooorrr....
Sherlock may not collect spores, moulds and fungus but he shares more similarities to Egon Spengler than just his social ineptitudes and after Mary organises a 80's themed birthday party he may realise that his relationship with Molly mirrors the ghostbusters with his secretary. Shame Janine ends up with Louis isn't it?

I write the wrong from my childhood through sherlolly because I loved Janine and Egon in the first Ghostbusters (but I loved her look for the second, don't at me she looked amazing).

Summary
The Dating Service presents Cadets (and planet-side officers) with scent testers of other individuals of the opposing designation until there is one that stands out. The program is highly successful at matching well-suited individuals. Until a Starfleet Cadet or Officer is bonded, they must remain out of positions of leadership and cannot be on exploratory vessels. This allows for Cadets to still gain experience without a higher statistical chance stress will agitate them or their cycle.
Despite opposition, duos have worked in Starfleet’s favor, and no other outside regulatory body has found the research waning. This program is also helpful for those that manage heats and ruts without pharmaceuticals because it guarantees the individual a partner regardless of any romantic connection.
No other organization has dared to take on this policy, finding people’s freedom more important than scent-matching their members.
Society does not find Alphas or Omegas wanting, but Starfleet does.
